The Tian Shan is one of the larger mountain ranges in Central Asia. It’s an endless system of plateaus, peaks, rivers, and valleys. For me, it easily ranks among the most beautiful places on Earth.
Looking towards Kazakhstan at Sayram Lake, Bortala, Xinjiang. Probably the most minimal natural landscape I have ever visited. Perfectly clear water and the sharp but simple lines of the Tian Shan in all directions.
